I'm glad we were able to get a few good moments with this family before the light disappeared  Thank you Ashley for taking a few of my family as well.  I don't have very many pictures of myself because I'm always behind the camera.  

Skank Family

 We enjoyed spending time with good friends tonight.  I loved taking pictures of their family.  Even the little one was perfectly behaved.

Head Shot

Professional head shot.  After doing this shoot my husband showed me the photo that he had on his professional profile at work and I was horrified.  I guess I know who's picture I will be taking next.

The M. Family

Here are just a few of a family that I love.  I consider them my Texas Family.  They are truly the best people you will ever meet.  I really enjoyed spending the evening laughing and enjoying their company.

Princess Birthday Party

My little girl wanted a pink tea party with her friends.  I wasn't surprised.  She obsessed with pink and tea parties are a daily occurrence at my house.  As her little friends arrived we had them sit for a picture in their dress ups.  It was so fun and the kids did so well at acting the part.  This was my favorite session, mostly because I can't get over how beautiful my little Cinderella is.

Back to School

This girl is headed back to school.  I have to admit, every year at this time I get really excited when I realize that I don't have to go anywhere.  I paid my dues at a university.  No more really early mornings studying.  No more finals. I'd like to think that I'm continuing my education from home. It's called the internet :).  

I was grateful when my friend agreed to meet an take pictures of her daughter.  I really enjoyed taking pictures and editing them with her, and it helps that it's really easy to take pictures of her.  I've been jealous of her hair since I moved into the area.  Gorgeous.  

Children's Portraits

I have a really awesome friend who I regularly drive an hour to see (She's that awesome).  I got to take pictures of her sons today.   It was really low pressure, just the way I like it.  We threw a sheet over the couch and opened up her back door.  I think they turned out pretty well.

Every once and a while I run into someone who just is so photogenic that they make magic with every click of my camera. This little boy does that, and I'm just a little jealous.

Beautiful Babies

I have a lot of pictures of these beautiful babies.  Their Mommy comes over regularly to take pictures. She's the one who has stuck with me through the worst and best times in my journey of photography. I love taking pictures of her brown eyed girls.

Wedding Day

Congrats to Sharon and Mitchell on their wedding!

Sharon was at the church the night before her wedding and she mentioned she didn't have a photographer.  I quickly offered and we pulled things together last minute.  I'm really glad it worked out and we were able to get her pictures to remember this beautiful day.  

Vacation

Nothing is better than vacation.  This is the first one we've been on together as a family (not counting our flights home for the holidays).  It was some well deserved relaxation, and an early birthday present for my husband.  I think this girl enjoyed it as much as we did. 

Price Family

I love this couple.  We have grown to be such great friends over the last two years.  A few weeks ago they announced that they would be moving. Dani came to me and asked if I would take pictures of her family.  Little did I know that she had another announcement.  It was so fun to be apart of announcing the new addition to their family.  Congrats!  Texas will miss you.
